Empowerment from the heels up!

Stiletto Studio is Winnipeg’s first heels dance company! Heels explores our innate sensuality through dance. For novices and even for experienced dancers it can be difficult to build self-esteem and overcome insecurities. In Heels, you will learn to be comfortable with natural movement while simultaneously toning and strengthening your body. As intimidating as this might sound, the main goal is to encourage people of any age and body type to come break a sweat in style. Challenge yourself to become your best, strongest and sexiest version.

Dani Duffy, Founder & CEO

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Dani started dancing at the age of six at the Winnipeg School of Performing Arts. During the early years, she trained in tap dance but as many young dancers do she gradually began diversifying her range by taking ballet, jazz and hip-hop.
As a young adult she taught classes at the Royal Dance Conservatory and Vibe School of the Arts, honing her skills as a teacher and developing her knowledge of varying styles. Eventually she moved to Toronto to train in many styles, specifically heels dance. Having spent several years in Toronto refining her technique, Dani’s love of dance and has grown tremendously. Now, Dani has returned home with a wealth of experience in dance and fitness that she cannot wait to share with the community she grew up in. 
Her infectious enthusiasm and warm demeanor welcomes dancers of all levels.

Elizabeth Gray,  Instructor & Assistant

Liz has been a dancer at Stiletto Studio since the very beginning and has now been added to our training staff! She will be instructing the 40+ heels, Heels 101 as well as assisting.  

Over the past 22 years, Liz grew up training and assisting classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Pointe at Karen Luba School of Dance and Exhale Dance Studio.  

Liz also plays a big role in the studio behind the scenes, such as assisting with social media and showcase planning.  Her technique, positive attitude, and welcoming personality make her an excellent addition to the Stiletto Studio family!



Jade Olynyk, Assistant

Jade has been dancing since the age of 3.  She is trained in various styles such as; Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Aerial Silks, and Heels.  Jade has been a part of Stiletto Studio since September 2017. Throughout her dance career she has had the opportunity to learn from world renowned choreographers such as Chris Judd and Brian Friedman.  She has had the opportunity to travel to and compete at Dance World Cup and came home with a gold medal, as well as compete in multiple regional and national competitions such as 5678 showtime, Canadian National Dance Championships and Thunderstruck Dance Competition. She has been a great addition to Team SS!



Jessica Marsh, Instructor & Assistant

Jessica was born in Brandon, Manitoba and began developing her artistic passion at a young age. She attended the Brandon School of Dance, where she was cast in many different ballets, and won a variety of scholarships and awards, including being a two-time recipient of the Ms. Butterfield Senior Dancer award. As a young instructor, Jessica taught ballet, lyrical, and jazz to various age groups in Brandon, was presented with multiple awards for outstanding choreography. In the summer of 2010, she completed a six-week ballet course at Steps on Broadway in New York City, further deepening her knowledge in ballet. In 2015, Jessica graduated from the Senior Professional Program at the School of Contemporary Dancers in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Since then Jessica began training, teaching and competing in Pole Fitness Internationally. Her most recent accomplishment is winning 1st runner up in the North American Elite division at NAPDC (North American Pole Dance Championships.)

Jessica has been apart of Stiletto Studio since Spring of 2018. She is thrilled to begin her journey of being apart of Team SS and can’t wait to share her passion of heels dancing with others!


Shelby Bernhard, Instructor & Assistant

Shelby’s love for dance began at the age of 3 at Karen Luba School of Dance where she trained in tap and jazz for 15 years. She also has experience in musical theatre and performed in a number of musicals throughout secondary school. Since taking her first heels class at Stiletto Studio she has become hooked on the dance style and her passion for heels continues to grow. Shelby has been dancing with Stiletto Studio since our second showcase and is thrilled to be part of the Stiletto Studio family!
Along with continuing her heels training and strutting her stuff in class, Shelby will also be assisting classes as well as instructing the Heels 4.0 class!
